To increase your campaign performance and make sure your emails are correctly delivered, you'll first need to clean your mailing list and remove bounces. This article will show you how to do that with Bounce Checker.
What is Bounce Checker?
Bounce Checker is an add-on for Google Sheets. It checks your whole Gmail inbox, then automatically lists all bounces into your spreadsheet.
Specifically, Bounce Checker inspects your Gmail inbox to retrieve all addresses which triggered a bounce, like this one:
You can then simply clean your mailing list to avoid sending new emails to bounced addresses.
1. Install Bounce Checker in your Google account
Click below to install our add-on from the Chrome Web Store:
Or search 'Bounce Checker' in the Google Sheets add-on store:
2. List bounces in a spreadsheet
Open a new Google Sheet, then go to Add-ons > Bounce checker > List all bounces from Gmail in current sheet:
Bounce Checker will now scan your whole Gmail box, searching for bounces:
Once done, you'll find in your spreadsheet the list of all accounts that triggered a bounce:
3. Clean your campaign mailing list
Open your spreadsheet that contains your recipient list. Then simply go to Add-ons > Bounce checker > Verify email addresses in current sheet:
Bounce Checker will then add a 'Bouncing' mention next to each email address that will for sure trigger a bounce. You can easily use Google Sheets filter to remove then from your list:
And that's it! In a few minutes only, you'll end up with a clean mailing list, and you are now ready to send your mail merge and reduce bounce issues.

Unfortunately, it seems that Bounce Checker has not been approved by GOOGLE and so trying to use it on a Gmail account gets blocked at the sign-in stage
So this article does not offer a practical working solution
