If you already sent a mail merge and want to also send it to a new batch of recipients (for example, new leads that came after you sent the first batch) or because you wanted to break down your mail merge in multiple batches, you can send the same mail merge to any new recipients you decide to add to the Google sheet.
With this example, we show how to add new recipients and send them the same mail merge.
Procedure
- Open your Google sheet.
- Add new recipients by adding new contacts rows or clear the filters if you filtered out any recipients during the first mail merge.
- From the first empty cell of the first column, write the new recipients' email addresses and the data corresponding to your mail merge.
- If you have filtered-out contacts, clear the filter by selecting Data > Turn off filter to bring those contacts back into view and make them available for the re-sending of the mail merge.
When your new contacts list is ready, you can send your mail merge.
- From the first empty cell of the first column, write the new recipients' email addresses and the data corresponding to your mail merge.
- Select Add-ons > Yet Another Mail Merge: Mail Merge for Gmail > Start Mail Merge.
The Start Mail Merge pop-up opens with the first mail merge's configuration. - To send the same mail merge to the newly added recipients, click Send emails.
The text in the button indicates the number of new recipients.
When your mail merge is sent, a confirmation pop-up appears and the Tracking Report refreshes automatically. - Click Close.
Result
The same mail merge has been sent to the new recipients. The Tracking Report now tracks all emails sent.
