YAMM comes with a complete tracking tool to help you measure the performance of your campaigns and improve your next mail merges. It's also easy to use as you can activate the tracker in one click!
Enable email tracking in Yet Another Mail Merge
Check the box Track emails opened, clicked or bounced just before sending your mail merge.
After sending your mail merge, the tracking report automatically opens on the right sidebar of your Google Sheets.
Check your tracking stats again
If you have closed the tracking sidebar, you can always open it again through the add-on menu. A new entry called Open tracking report appears.
When you open the tracking report, Yet Another Mail Merge updates your spreadsheet with all new receipts.
Track your mail merges in real-time
With our tracking tool, all stats on your campaign are retrieved in real-time. Every time a recipient opens, clicks or unsubscribes from your email, or if your emails bounce, the information is automatically and immediately recorded in the report.

What does a "0" in the Merge Status column mean? Thanks!
Hello Sophie,
Having a 0 under merge status means that YAMM will skip this recipient and not send him an email.
YAMM may automatically add a 0 under merge status when the recipient email address is incorrect for example.
Where is the key of what the different colors mean? Why are some in red text?
I have a CC and To field in my email campaign. If the tracking status says that the email is opened, who opened the email? CC or To?
Is it possible to only track opens and bounces and turn off click tracking. I'm having an issue where the tracking links are creating "suspicious link" warnings when recipients try to click on a link that has a tracking URL part of it.
I have tracking enabled in my merge and while I see Opened, Clicked and Bounced in the report, I'm not seeing the "response rate" although I've had numerous responses to the email. Any idea?

I have a CC and To field in my email campaign. If the tracking Result status says that the email is opened, who opened the email? CC or To?
Hi NCTE
For now, this option is not possible. However, your request has been transferred to our developers.
Thank you
Apenas envié los correos, aparecieron 14 correos abiertos cuando 2 de ellos que manejo ni siquiera había entrado a ver sus correos. ¿Porque? ¿esos 14 correos también pasaron lo mismo? mucha coincidencia.
Are emails that are opened with a mail client like Outlook or Mac Mail also tracked? I just ran a test on this with a member of my team who uses Mac Mail and the message I sent to him is still not marked as "Email_Opened" even though he opened it.
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your interest in YAMM.
To track open rate, YAMM uses an invisible pixel (like an invisible image), so if your recipients don't display external images we won’t be able to record a read
The result of your tests could be due to your recipients Mail service not having activated images display in their webmail client settings. In most email services, like Gmail or Outlook, people can disable the display of images by default.

I hope this has offered you some guidance.
A while back, you used to be able to see how many times and when people opened your email. That feature is no longer available. Can you please bring it back? I'm noticing that a lot of mail servers are scanning emails with bots and it's registering as "opens" and "clicks", but it's not the actual person reading and clicking the email.
Having the ability to see how often an email is viewed can help us understand the engagement of the recipient and how receptive they may be to our services.
Hi Rene,
