YAMM lets you easily send your emails from another account, like an alias. Read this article to learn more about this option.
1. Add the accounts / aliases in your Gmail settings
To send your campaigns from another email address like an alias, you first need to add it in your Gmail settings.
Open your Gmail settings, then go to the 'Accounts' tab:
Next to 'Send mail as', make sure that the by default account is your primary account. If it is not the case, click 'make default'. If you don't know what your primary account is, open a Google Sheets and it will appear on the top right corner of your spreadsheet, above the 'SHARE' button.
Then, click 'Add another email address', and 'Treat as an alias'. Validate.
Confirm and click on 'Save changes'.
If you need more help configuring the additional accounts, please read this article from Google doccumentation: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22370?hl=en-GB
2. Select the other account from YAMM
Once done, you will automatically be able to reuse them in Yet Another Mail Merge. To send from your alias in YAMM, click on '+ Alias, filters, personalized attachments...':
Choose your alias / other account in the 'Send From' field. The accounts available in YAMM should match those set up in your Gmail account.
Finally, click on 'Back' and 'Send Emails'.
Note: YAMM will keep the latest account that you selected. Thus you don't need to specify it every time you want to do a mail merge!
Information about the test option and your alias
When sending emails to yourself, Gmail automatically skips the alias setting. So the 'send from' feature doesn't work with the 'Send me a test email' button. Learn more: 'The 'Send from' field (alias picker) isn’t working'
