    Hi Airton,

    Thanks for your feedback!

Yes you can reuse any name for the column header. We wrote 'First Name' in this article as an example, but you can name is as you wish (firstname, FirstName, First etc.). Just make sure your column headers match the variables from your email content ;-).

When I send a test email  with a marker of Dear {{First Name}} it comes to my email box as Dear and the first person's name on the spreadsheet.  Should the test say Dear and my first name since my name is on listed on the spreadsheet?

Hi - Is there a way to have a variable if only a few out of your list don't have a first name (you only have a company email address)?

    Example:

    Hi {{First Name}}:

    if {{First Name}} blank, then;
          {{To Whom It May Concern}}:

    Thanks!

    Hi!

Can I somehow personalize bullet points? Let's say I have 3 recipients and each of them should receive the different number of bullet points with personalized text. So far, I am just using Ctrl+Enter in the spreadsheet and add all the necessary info and in the email, I create one bullet point for this cell. But in this case, I have only one bullet point and the rest of the text just starts with a new line.

Thanks in advance for your answer

The text of my e-mail gets sent out in one big block.  Even the signature is attached to the body of the message.  In my draft it is formatted with different text on different lines.

    Hi Molly Klarman

Several reasons can affect the content of your email.

Could you please send a screenshot to our support team at support@yet-another-mail-merge.com? Also, I suggest that you try from a completely new draft (without copying/pasting) and see if you are faced to the same issue.

    Thank you

Hi there, thank you for this great app! I have a big contact list and my name column only has FULL NAMEs (it is. not from google, but from a guest list). Can I make markers that can extrapolate only the First name to personalize mails? Otherwise what other suggestion would you have? Many thanks in advance!

    Hi Agapes & Bouchons,

We currently don't have a solution to add variables to URLs set in Gmail. However, we do have a workaround that you can set up in your spreadsheet. 😉

We have a fantastic article on our Support page that provides more details and information. You can view it here.

Please, feel free to contact us here if you need more assistance.

    Have a good one,

    Hi Tania,

Glad to hear from you. 🙂

What I would recommend is splitting the cell's content in the spreadsheet before using YAMM.

Google Sheet has a formula called Split that you can use. Or you can also use their "Split text to columns" feature.

Please, feel free contact us here if you need more assistance. 👍🏼

    Hi Nguyễn Hương,

As was previously mentioned, this feature was removed from the Add-On Menu in the most recent build release.

Please see below the full list of templates previously available:

To make use of a template, follow these steps:

    1. Open the template of your choice.
    2. Once opened, select all the content (CTRL/CMD + A) and copy (CTRL/CMD + C).
    3. Then, go to Gmail, click Compose.
    4. Specify a subject.
    5. Click where you usually type your email and paste (CTRL/CMD + V).

If there is any further assistance that you need, please use the following contact form link to correspond directly with the Support Team.

    Regards,

    Claud
