Getting (relevant) replies from your recipients is often considered as the ultimate sign of interest to your emailing campaign. That's why YAMM integrates response rate tracking to let you know at a glance who answered to your email.
How to track response rate?
Like for our other tracking stats, you first need to activate the tracker before sending your mail merge.
Then every time your subscribers reply to your email, YAMM will record the answers as 'RESPONDED' under the 'Merge status' column:
Note that we track response rate in real-time, so that you can know who answered just right after your campaign:
Note: It can take a few minutes to be updated in your spreadsheet, especially if, for example, your recipients are using Gmail, enabled the 'Undo Send' feature and set a long 'Send cancellation period' (it can be a similar feature in other webmail clients):
How to increase my response rate?
The first thing to focus on will be to work on better open rates. Here are some tips to increase your open rate. You can also use our follow-up option to send a reminder to people who opened (or not) your emails.
If you want to quickly get feedback, then use our YAMM Polls to include short surveys to your email. YAMM Polls are the perfect solution to get better response rate.
YAMM marked a response in my spreadsheet, but I didn't get any answer in my inbox
This typically happens when you get an out-of-office automatic reply to the same conversation thread as your email sent:
In that case, YAMM won't be able to differentiate between an OOO and a real reply, so the tool will mark it as 'RESPONDED' in your Google Sheets.
