Getting (relevant) replies from your recipients is often considered as the ultimate sign of interest to your mail merge. That's why YAMM integrates response rate tracking to let you know at a glance who answered your email.
How to track the response rate?
You can track the response rate (along with all other metrics) of your mail merge from the Tracking Report sidebar. To do so, you need to activate tracking before sending your mail merge. After that, every time someone replies to your email, YAMM records the answers as RESPONDED in the Merge status column and it updates the response rate in the Tracking Report.
We track the response rate in real-time so that you cansee who responds right after your mail merge.
Note: It can take a few minutes to see the status update in your spreadsheet. For example, your recipients are using Gmail's Undo Send feature and have set a long Send cancellation period.
How to increase my response rate?
The first thing to focus on is to achieve better open rates. Here are some tips to increase your open rate. You can also use our follow-up option to send a reminder to people who opened (or not) your emails.
If you want to get feedback quickly, then use our YAMM Polls to include short surveys to your email. YAMM Polls are the perfect solution to get a better response rate.
I get RESPONDED in my spreadsheet, but no answer in my inbox
That typically happens when:
- You get an out-of-office automatic reply to the same conversation thread as your email sent.
- You replied to your email to send a reminder to your recipients.
- You set a different reply-to email address.
YAMM cannot differentiate between an Out-Of-Office automatic reply and a real reply, so it marks both as RESPONDED in your Google Sheet.
